Viking recalls folding tent trailers because tire label is wrong

July 16, 2014—Viking recalled certain Coachman and Viking 2014 folding tent trailers that were manufactured from Nov. 20, 2013, through May 28, 2014. The affected vehicles list the incorrect recommended tire air pressure. As a result, these folding trailers fail to meet federal safety standards.

If the tires are filled to the air pressure that’s indicated on the supplied label, the consumer increases the risk of a tire blowout, which might cause a crash.

The following Coachmen Sport models are affected: 106, 106ST and 107. The following Viking Epic models are affected: 1906, 1906ST, 2107, CWS8 and CWS10.

Viking notified owners and mailed owners free labels that indicate the correct recommended tire pressure.
