July 17, 2014—Popkiller recalled certain cellphone accessories, because the improperly mounted plug blades and inadequate electronic circuitry pose fire and electrical shock hazards to consumers.

The recall involves an in-vehicle power adapter, a wall power adapter and a USB charging cable. The in-vehicle power adapter is 2 inches long and 1 inch in diameter, and has model number HHT001 printed on the flat side of the device. The wall power adapter is 1.5 inches long and 1 inch wide, and has model number A1265 printed above the plug blades. The eight-pin USB charging cable has no printed model number. All of the recalled products were sold separately in blue, green, orange, pink, purple or red.

The recalled products were sold at Popkiller stores in California from June 2013 through April 2014. No incidents were reported. Consumers should stop using the phone accessories and return the product to a Popkiller store or send it to Popkiller for a full store credit.
