July 23, 2014—Oeuf recalled its Sparrow crib, because the slats/spindles and top rail can become detached and pose an entrapment hazard to children.

The crib was manufactured from July 2007 through January 2014 and sold in beige, brown, gray and white. The affected model numbers are 1SPCR, 2SPCR, 4SPCR and 5SPCR. The manufacture date (in MM/YYYY format) and the model number are printed on the warning label that’s attached to the crib’s mattress support.

The recalled crib was sold at independent juvenile specialty stores nationwide and online. Oeuf received four reports of the slats/spindles and the top rail that became detached from the crib. No injuries were reported. Consumers should stop using the crib and contact Oeuf for instructions on how to receive a free repair kit.

For more information, consumers should call Oeuf at 844/653-8527 Monday–Friday 10:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. ET or go to oeufnyc.com.
