July 18, 2014—Mars Food North America recalled Uncle Ben’s Ready Rice Garden Vegetable with Peas, Carrots and Corn, because the product might contain barley, which is a source of gluten that isn’t listed on the ingredient label.

Kraft recalls cheese product because it might spoil early

June 24, 2014—Kraft Food Group recalled its Velveeta Original Pasteurized Recipe cheese product, because it doesn’t contain appropriate levels of sorbic acid, which is a preservative. The affected product could spoil prematurely or lead to foodborne illness.
