Goodyear rolls out roadside towing service

Goodyear Tire & Rubber introduced a towing service that hauls stranded motorists and their vehicles to the nearest participating Goodyear Tire & Service Network location.

Goodyear says the Tow365 program covers all passenger vehicles and light trucks for the same price. You’ll pay $40 to tow your vehicle up to 10 miles, $60 for between 10.1 miles and 20 miles, and $3.75 for each additional mile over 20 miles. The towing fee is paid to the Goodyear service station and not to the tow-truck driver.

Consumers can access the service by calling 877/GYR4TOW (497-4869) or by using the Tow365 mobile application on their smartphone. The app is free and can be downloaded from Apple’s App Store or from Google Play.

Goodyear says vehicles that are towed during off-hours will be dropped off at service locations that have night-drop service or towed to a secure lot overnight and towed out the next morning at no additional charge.
