To consolidate its midsize-sedan offerings, Chrysler will drop the 200 Convertible and the Dodge Avenger from its 2015 lineup.

The announcement that the redesigned 200 Sedan wouldn’t be joined by a two-door convertible model means that Chrysler won’t have a drop-top vehicle for the 2015 model year.

Wendy Orthman of Chrysler says the Avenger will exit the lineup to boost sales of the Dodge Dart and won’t be replaced by another midsize vehicle.
